I recently covered the wedding of Marianne McKenna and Alan Hennesey in the Unitarian Church in St Stephen’s Green in Dublin. I started the morning in the beautiful Druids Glenn where the Bride, Marianne was getting ready with her parents and bride’s maids. It was a very relaxed room when I went in and the girls were having great fun with the preparations. Marianne who was originally from South Africa had friends from all over the world at the wedding. Her sister had a really beautiful flower girl and she just loved the camera. After a short 40mins drive from the hotel we arrived at the Unitarian Church in St Stephen’s Green. Keith performed the ceremony and he was fantastic at putting the couple at ease. After the ceremony we went across to the beautiful St Stephen’s green for photographs. It was an excellent location for photos and we were blessed with the weather. We then headed back to Druids Glenn where we did the family photos in the grounds. The reception was great craic and the guests were in flying form when I was leaving. It was a great day and I really enjoyed capturing the couples special day.
