I recently covered the wedding of Anita O’Connor and John McEnroe in Drum Church and Glasson Country House Hotel in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.  I had photographed both families before so they were well used to me and it was very relaxed when I went to both houses.  I started in the groom’s house where we got some lovely pictures of the groom with his grooms men.  I went to the bride’s house next where Anita looked radiant.   We got fantastic pictures of everyone including her lovely pet dogs.  We went to the ceremony in the lovely traditional Drum church where the ceremony went off with out a hitch.   There was amazing singing during the ceremony provided by Anita’s Choir group.   We went to the fabulous Glasson Country House Hotel for the reception.  It was a lovely bright day and we got fantastic pictures of the couple down by the lake in Glasson.  When I was leaving after the first dance everyone was in great form and the reception was in full swing.
