I recently covered the wedding of Karen Farrell and Matt Mayo in Drumraney Church, Co. Westmeath.  Matt is a US Marine currently based in Whiting NAS, Milton, Florida. and he got married in his No. 1 uniform. He met Karen when she was travelling on the West Coast of the US with her sister in law in San Diego. I took pictures of Matt and his best man in Grogans pub in Glasson before heading to the bride’s house. Karen, I can honestly say was the most relaxed bride I had ever met and she looked stunning on her wedding day. They had a beautiful daughter Ciara three months before the wedding. Fr. Brilley made the ceremony run smoothly and we stopped off in a tiny old Irish pub called the pigeons for a few photos before heading to the Glasson Golf Hotel for the reception. Gareth and his team made sure everything went off without a hitch and the Blacktyes kicked off the music for the night as I was leaving. It really was a fantastic wedding and it was a pleasure to cover their day.
