I recently covered the wedding of Orla Forde and Cathal Conaty in St. Mary’s Church Athlone and Glasson Country House Hotel . I started with the groom and groom’s men in Grogan’s in Glasson village where we had fun pulling pints and got great pictures. I went to the brides house and the bridesmaids looked great in pink but were outshone by Orla who looked stunning and beautiful. The ceremony was in St.Mary’s church in Athlone and the priest did a fine job and the ceremony went off with out a hitch. We went outside and got fantastic pictures of the couple by the rails and in the church grounds. We went to the beautiful Glasson Country House Hotel where we got great photographs down by the lake with couple and the wedding party. The speeches were very funny and by the time I was leaving after the first dance the reception was in full swing and everyone was having a great time.
