I recently covered the wedding of Emma McDonagh and Barney Mulvihill in Westport Church and the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport Co. Mayo.  The bride got ready at home where there was great excitement before heading to the ceremony in Westport church. At the church there happened to be a full pipe band outside for the bride which was amazing to see.  The ceremony went off without a hitch as the priest helped keep the couple relaxed.  We then went to the fantastic Westport house where we got great pictures down by the waterfall.  Inside the house we used the staircase to get some lovely bridal portraits. We went on to the reception in the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport.  The Ireland V France Rugby Six Nations decider delayed the meal but the exciting finish added to the electric atmosphere of the day.  There were some entertaining speeches and by the time I was leaving after the first dance there was great fun at the reception and a real buzz around the hotel.
