Westmeath.\u00a0 I started in Glasson village in the famous award winning pub Grogan&#8217;s with the Groom, John and his Groom&#8217;s men.\u00a0 It was great fun and the lads were very relaxed.\u00a0 I went to Retreat Road in Athlone then where the bride Aileen was getting ready.\u00a0 There was a\u00a0 great atmosphere in the house and a lovely positive vibe in the house.\u00a0 The two flower girls nearly stole the show!\u00a0 Just when I was leaving I noticed that one of her neighbours was also leaving for a different church dressed in white.\u00a0 Definitely a first!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4980\" src=\"https:\/\/liamkidney.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/AileenAndJohn-2.jpg\" alt=\"Rainbow at Glasson Country Club Hotel (Westmeath Photographer)Club\" width=\"557\" height=\"840\" srcset=\"https:\/\/liamkidney.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/AileenAndJohn-2.jpg 557w, https:\/\/liamkidney.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/AileenAndJohn-2-199x300.jpg 199w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 557px) 100vw, 557px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fr. Declan Shannon was the priest that married the couple in St Mary&#8217;s Church, in Athlone and as per usual he put the couple at ease with his great sense of humour.\u00a0 We photographed the families in the church grounds before heading to\u00a0 the fantastic Glasson Country House Hotel for the reception.\u00a0 The weather was kind enough to let us get some pictures down by the lake and we were later blessed with a rainbow.\u00a0 It was a great wedding and Big Deal Wedding had the dance floor full when I was leaving&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4982 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/liamkidney.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Wedding_In_Glasson_Hotel1.jpg\" alt=\"Wedding In Glasson Country House Hotel Athlone, Co.
